Alpha Omicron Pi

Inspire Ambition

A Message From Alpha Omicron Pi’s president

Our chapter’s motto is companionship and prosperity, and those words truly mean so much more to us than what’s written on paper. They guide in the way we show up for one another every single day. We strive to build a sisterhood rooted in genuine connection and becoming women who not only value lifelong friendships, but truly cherish them.

The way our sisters embody Inspire Ambition is something that constantly amazes me. AOIIs are involved in just about every corner of Cal Poly, serving as WOW leaders, ASI student leaders, academic tutors, student athletes, and so much more. It’s so special to see the passion each woman brings to the communities she’s part of. Our involvement doesn’t stop on campus either. We love showing up for our Greek community’s philanthropic events and giving back to the San Luis Obispo community that has given us so much.

Our philanthropy, the Arthritis Foundation, is especially close to our hearts. Watching our chapter come together for our annual, award-winning Mr. Fraternity event, and recently raising over $12,000, was such a proud and meaningful moment. We are also proud to support our local philanthropy, the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which fights childhood cancer by providing financial and emotional support to families, funding research, and raising awareness. It’s incredible what can happen when a group of women rally around causes they care deeply about.

Beyond all of our involvement and accomplishments, what makes AOII so special are the friendships. When I think of the women in this chapter, I immediately think of how genuine, authentic, and warm-hearted they are. We’ve created a space where we can celebrate each other’s strengths, support one another through challenges, and grow together. I feel so grateful to be surrounded by women who inspire me daily. Because of them, I strive to be my very best and I am endlessly proud to call them my sisters!

ALAM,

— President Chloe Garcia

Scholarship Opportunites

Scholarships are a valuable resource to help ease the financial commitment of Panhellenic membership. A variety of options are available to support members with dues and related expenses, making sorority life more accessible and affordable.

Available Scholarship Opportunities:

  • National Organization Scholarships: National sorority organizations often provide scholarships such as but not limited to, academic achievement, leadership involvement, and financial need. These awards may assist with chapter dues, housing costs, or overall educational expenses.

  • Panhellenic Scholarships: The Panhellenic Council offers campus-wide scholarships to members of any affiliated chapter. These scholarships typically recognize leadership, academic excellence, community involvement, and demonstrated financial need.
